Comitti Venezia 28
Comitti introduced the Venezia 28 in the summer of 2006 with a Limousine for two famous hotels on Lake Como, Italy. The Venezia 28 Runabout in Sport, Classic and Elegance trim was developed and has become the most popular model in the Venezia line. The Classic is particularly well suited for those desiring wood trim in high UV boating locations.
The V 28 is a great handling rough water capable day boat accommodating up to six adults in the main cockpit with a full size sunbed aft and teak boarding steps on the transom. A day cabin with optional electric toilet and cushioned berth provides a new comfort level. Optional Bimini top for sun protection, 12 V refrigeration in cockpit, fresh water shower and cockpit table with rotating forward seating round out this versatile boat. With single or twin, gas or diesel power the V 28 is easily handled in calm or rough conditions and a pleasure to drive. Power from single 320 HP to twin 320 HP gas or diesel is available. Max single engine HP is Volvo 6.0 or Mercruiser 8.2 430 HP or Mercury Racing 520HP.
The epoxy sealed Mahogany deck (Elegance) finished with Awlgrip Awlcraft 2000 clear acrylic-urethane topcoat provides many years of maintenance free use. The Venezia 28 Elegance fiberglass hull and wood deck combination create a classic wooden runabout experience with the carefree maintenance of a fiberglass hull. The Classic with Teak decking or Sport with minimal or no wood trim round out the V28 Collection.
